"Have Faith in God" (Mark 4:35-41) - Dr. Roy Cordel

Dr. Roy L. Cordle is married to Joan Whitworth Cordle and they have one daughter Jacque Cordle Ramey. Dr. Cordle was born in Trion, Ga. and moved to Alabama in 1945 where his father, Malcolm L. Cordle was an Assistant Pastor here at Dwight Baptist Church. Dr. Roy Cordle was manager of the A&P Grocery on Wall Street from 1965-1967. Dr. Cordle entered the ministry in 1967 and in 1969 was ordained by Fairview Baptist Church here in Gadsden, AL.

 Dr. Cordle is a graduate of Oxford High School and has a B.A. from William Carey University, Hattiesburg, MS. and a B.S. from Florida Baptist College, Graceville, FL. He also has a Master’s and a Doctoral Degree from Covington Theological Seminary.
 

Dr. Cordle has been involved in adult education for over 32 years. He is 
currently serving as a professor for Covington Seminary and has pastored 
churches in Florida, Mississippi and Alabama.
