Trust Him in All Ways

Trust Him in All Ways

Good morning,

All Christians trust God.  Trusting God is at the heart of salvation and is essential as we follow Christ as His disciples.  Within the personalities of His children lies different tendencies related to trust.  Do you trust Him in the big things but do the "little" things on your own?  Do you trust Him only in the things that don't seem to bother Him too much or be too much trouble?  Maybe you fall somewhere in between - you go to Him for the daily small stuff and then run to His side when terrible news comes your way.

I become frustrated with myself many times when I think about things that I'm responsible for getting done.  I often catch myself attempting to handling them on my own.  I'm not suggesting that as Christians we are to be inactive.  To the contrary, I'm suggesting that we be very active in our trusting Christ for all of our needs.

The Bible speaks about trusting God in many instances.  Here are a few:

2 Sam 22:2-4
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
The God of my strength, in whom I will trust

2 Sam 22:31
As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Ps 2:12
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Jer 39:18
"For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword; but your life shall be as a prize to you, because you have put your trust in Me," says the Lord.

Over and over again, the Bible tells us to trust in God.  Trust Him in the big things.  Trust Him in the small things.  Trust Him in the in between things.  You will never be disappointed when you place your trust in Him.

Be blessed,
Jay
