God the Creator

Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For He commanded and they were created. 
He also established them forever and ever;
He made a decree which shall not pass away.

Most people are aware of the Biblical creation story.  God created everything & He began by saying, "let there be light" and it was so.  When God speaks the word, things happen.  Entire solar systems, stars, planets, the universe itself, and most importantly, life is created out of nothingness.  All God had to do was speak the word.  One bit of good news today is that nothing has happend to change God's creation power...Nothing!

 

God, among a limitless list of other things, is a creator.  When we study science, history, math, art and poetry, we are looking at glimpses of God's creation at work.  He creates something from nothing at His pleasure.  He even has the ability to create something new in your life today.

 

Consider the ways you want your life to be different.  You may be looking at a situation you think the outcome has already been determined.  God has the ability to create a new path for your life to travel down.  I'm not suggesting God removes the consequences of our bad decisions and choices.  He certainly allow us to suffer consequences when we have sinned.  He also, however, has the ability to step in and create a way where there seems to be no way.

 

Trust our creator with every detail of your life.  He made you and he knows you even better than you know yourself.  He knows what's just around the bend and He's able to create something entirely new and wonderful in your life.  Don't be guilty of thinking your case is hopeless because God can speak the word and what He says will happen.
