"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated
and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. "
...During the formative days of the Church, the job was given to men and women who were, by the days standards, uneducated and untrained. They had not learned principles of growth or techniques in sharing the Gospel message with the lost. They were simple people who were unashamed of the Truth. Those who heard their testimony knew right away where these men (Peter & John) had been spending their time. They had been with Jesus! I don’t want to be misunderstood regarding education. I believe in learning about the Bible. I believe we can grow in our faith by reading and studying what other believers have written about the Bible. There is no question in my mind it is profitable to study. Listen closely, however. No amount of study and training can replace time spent with Jesus.
Have you been with Jesus today?

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete. This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
Two eternal truths that will never lead you astray
Truth 1
Truly meaningful Fellowship is found only in Christ
- Has Christ become real in your life?
- Is the joy of the Lord a daily part of your life?
Truth 2
Truly fulfilling Relationships are found only in Christ
- Your relationship with Christ is more observable than you think
- Your relationship with Christ is more liberating than you can imagine
Living the abundant Christian life begins with confession and repentance.
