Dwight,
When one comes to a crossroads in life there is often reflection and introspection. I have been doing a lot of reminiscing and reflecting over the past couple of weeks. God has truly blessed our family by being a part of the Dwight Baptist family. The family of God is a truly precious thing and we cherish the friendships we have developed since 2009.
My prayer for Dwight is to live the words of Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, o man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah asks a rhetorical question with the answer contained in its asking. God has shown us what to do. The difficulty for us all is to put this verse into action. My prayer is that we will do exactly as Micah wrote so many years ago. Micah ended that thought with humility, and maybe that’s where we ought to start. Humbly walking before God allows us to realize the great mercy He has shown us, which in turn will allow us to do justly before God and men.
Thank you all for investing in our life. Thank you for loving us and blessing us in more ways than we can count. Thank you for sharing the walk of faith toward God’s Kingdom with. We love you and we will continue pray for you often.
In Christ, Jay
